Ethics, Quality and Sustainability
SILPLAST
A tangible commitment to the future
Given its role in society and the economy, Silplast believes it has an important part to play in achieving sustainability goals. It recognises the need to take on greater responsibilities beyond the traditional commitments of private businesses, including the ability to monitor, measure and manage the environmental, social and ethical impact of its economic and production activities.
To meet this commitment, the Sustainability Report was prepared.
A sustainability report is a document that enables businesses and organisations to present and communicate, in a structured and transparent way, their sustainability results and performance across environmental, social and economic matters.
This report complements companies’ financial statements and provides a complete overview of an organisation’s ability to create value. Integrated with ESG indicators, it also highlights how the company manages its responsibilities towards the environment, people and the community.

Material quality and process control
Quality starts with carefully selected raw materials and ongoing checks at every stage of production.
Silplast uses only high-quality thermoplastic materials, selected to suit the specific applications and performance requirements.
Every process—from injection moulding to extrusion—is monitored to ensure:
- dimensional accuracy
- product consistency
- strength and long service life
- compliance with technical specifications
Attention to detail is a defining feature of the company’s identity.
The combination of
technical expertise, attention to detail and quality control
ensures reliable, durable components that meet the required specifications.
Environmental sustainability and the use of recyclable materials
Silplast production is based primarily on the use of thermoplastic materials that are almost entirely recyclable.
Production waste is recovered and returned to the manufacturing cycle or entrusted to specialist recycling companies, minimising our environmental impact.
This approach combines production efficiency with environmental responsibility, contributing to a more sustainable industrial model.

Renewable energy
A tangible step towards sustainability has been taken with the installation of a company-owned solar PV system covering over 2,000 m².
The system meets the company’s entire energy needs and feeds a significant amount of surplus energy back into the grid.
Thanks to this choice, more than 925,000 kg of CO₂ emissions have been avoided during the plant’s first years of operation, making a tangible contribution to reducing environmental impact.
Responsibility towards our local community and people
Silplast complies with applicable health, safety and environmental regulations, promoting a safe and well-organised workplace.
Being an ethical business means more than just following the rules; it means making a difference in how we work and interact with others.
For us, upholding our Code of Ethics is a genuine commitment. It enables us to grow responsibly and sustainably, creating value for our employees, customers, suppliers and the communities where we operate—not only economically, but also socially and environmentally, contributing to the development of our local area.
Ethics, quality and environmental responsibility are core values that guide every business decision.

A production model focused on continuity
Investing in quality and sustainability means building a strong, reliable business for the long term.
A focus on processes, energy efficiency and environmental responsibility are key to ensuring production continuity, customer confidence and a stable presence in national and international markets.
